Become a Captain

You Teach. We Do Everything Else.

She Drives connects independent women captains with women who want to learn to run their own boats. You bring the license and the skill. We bring the students, the bookings, and the back office.

The Deal

What You Do, What We Do

She Drives is a marketplace, not an employer. You run your own training business. We make it easier to run.

You handle

  • Teaching, on the water, your way
  • Your own schedule and availability
  • Your own rates. You set them
  • Your license and your own insurance

She Drives handles

  • Marketing and a national brand that brings students to you
  • Booking, scheduling, and payment processing
  • Session frameworks you can teach from, or adapt
  • A community of women captains who have your back
Why We Need You

The Women Are Already Waiting

Millions of women are on boats every weekend and were never taught to run one. Not because they can't. Because nobody ever showed them in a way that felt welcoming. That takes a woman who has been there, with a license and the patience to teach.

1

Be the captain she needed

Most women learn from a husband, a boyfriend, or nobody. You change what learning looks like.

2

Get paid to teach

You already hold the license. We bring you students who want to learn from a woman who has one. You teach when you want, where you already boat.

3

Build the network with us

Founding captains shape how this works: the sessions, the standards, and the community women join.

The Terms, Plainly

Your rates

You set your own prices. We can suggest ranges from what works in other markets, but the number is always yours.

Your boat or theirs

Teach on your own vessel or on the student's boat. Many captains do both. Insurance requirements differ by setup and get sorted during onboarding.

Raise Your Hand

Twenty captains across the country already have. One email starts the conversation.
